Tripp Lite, ***Usually ships within 24 hours*** 20120618161643850
This power strip is a little smaller than I thought it'd be. It's workshop quality/heavy duty. I'm using it to power some switches and a wireless router in a closet under my stairs. I looked around on it for the circuit breaker reset switch and had to revert to reading the box. It's integrated into the power switch. If I had a gripe, it'd be that the outlet protectors are hard to remove. And there's no storage for them. They'll probably get lost. And it's not TripLight's fault, but my power adapter are made in a way (long and skinny) so they'll fit side-by-side in a traditional power strip. The wide plugs on this can't handle their shape without blocking two of the wide-spaced outlets. And the plugs that are close together on this strip are way too close together. Now that issue is TripLight's fault. No matter where I put the a/c adapters on this strip, they take up 2 spaces and I lose two outlets for each a/c adapter.

Excellent power strip for those locations where you need a something more rugged than the cheap plastic kinds. This Power strip from Tripp Lite comes with an all metal housing and a fifteen foot long power cord. It has eight plug-ins, 3 of which are spaced out for transformer plugs. To me this makes it invaluable. I have mine mounted in the garage next to my work bench and it gets a lot of use and abuse. I one of the best features though are the little plastic plug covers that you can use when the extra plug-ins are not in use. In my case, the covers keeps sawdust and other dirt from getting into the holes of the plug-in. This is not only unsafe but could be a fire hazard. With my old power strip (a left over from my electronic gear) I had to keep it covered to keep the debris out of it and it still got stuff into it an died an premature death. With this new power strip from Tripp Lite, I have been up and running and with no problems. If you need a tough as nails power...
