I purchased them for making templates for my paper projects (I draw on the plastic with permanent marker and cut out the shapes.)

The plastic is fully see-through and glossy. So, don't expect to be able to write on this one with a pencil as you can do with other similar products. These clear plastic sheets are about the thickness of cardstock, although they have a different feel because they are plastic. The plastic cuts easily with regular scissors and without difficulty with precision (small) scissors.

On a side note, once you open the shrink wrap, the sheets are simply stacked with cardboard on top and bottom and tissue paper between each sheet. You'll have to store them in something else, but the tissue paper effectively keeps the plastic for sticking.

I'm considering using it for making the windows of paper lanterns as well. The plastic is rigid enough to serve as windows if put into a frame. Although of course, don't apply flame or you'll melt...Read more
