I saw this case at the cell phone store while my new Atrix was having account information clarified...The main piece, which fits over the phone, is superbly designed. Snug, taut, feels great in the hand. The phone feels secure.I even like the front piece of the case, which protects the screen. It's still recommended to keep a separate screen protector over the phone due to risk of static build-up, but it's so much more valid protection for what is a great, and expensive, phone. The holster, however, is another story. It's easy to not get the phone to fit in the holster while wearing it. While in the holster, it feels somewhat secure, but the whole design gives me second thoughts on that belief. Now, while there is a plus in that the holster is designed to have the front of the phone (glass screen) aimed at one's body (and not in the open!), the snap-in method is "too easy to use". Too easy for potential problems to develop should it fall...

I love this case. I received it quickly and it does such a great job with my phone. It makes the phone a little bulky (my gf always complains that it's a very masculine phone fyi for the ladies) but I love it. It comes with a hard case shell (2 pieces that snap together easily) that has a built in screen protector which is great! And then a silicone cover (one piece that covers the entire phone and all the holes of the phone i.e. where you plug in your headphones) that fits right over the case. I have dropped my phone twice and nothing has happened. It also comes with a case holder that attaches to your belt but I do not use it; just put my phone in my pocket and my keys never scratch my phone! Also I have taken the case off a hundred times and it doesn't scratch the phone which is great! As a pre-caution there are 2 "flimsy" areas of the silicon cover which might rip off if you were really careless with it: the flap that covers where you plug in your head phones and the...

I was looking for something to protect my new Motorola Atrix. I decided on the OtterBox Defender as 1 of 2 cases. I have to admit, my Atrix feels a lot more secure with this. It adds a couple of layers of protection and I'm not so worried about damaging my phone. I was concerned about the touchscreen not being that effective with the plastic protective cover, but I haven't been hindered by it.I don't know if I will be using this full time, as I purchased the car dock, and as you can imagine, the phone will not fit in the car dock with the case. It is quite the process to get the phone in and out of the Defender case. The second case I purchased was the OtterBox Impact Series case. While I really wouldn't call the Impact Series a case, I'd call it more of a sleeve; however, I plan on using the Impact when I plan on using the Atrix in the car dock, since it is very easy to remove. I can't really blame OtterBox for this, but it does make a world of difference to...
