 | Author: Kay | The manufacturer commented on the review belowSee comments I've wanted a tablet for several years now while struggling to draw digitally with only a mouse. I heard good things about Wacom and decided to get the medium size of this tablet.Notes:-The active area size is smaller than the overall tablet size (8.5x5.3in for medium), so be sure to research the size you want.-The loop at the top does hold the pen, but you have to insert the side of the pen opposite the nib; the nib end will not fit.-The tablet maps the screen exactly, so you won't end up drawing off of the tablet's surface.-It doesn't pick up on my hand when I rest it on the surface, so that's nice.-3 pen nibs are included inside the back panel (in addition to the one already in the pen), and there's a nib removal tool on the back as well.Pros:-Very easy to install the driver for Mac. An installation CD is included but the driver can be downloaded online if you don't have a CD/DVD drive on your computer.-Works great...Read more if (typeof amznJQ != "undefined") { amznJQ.onReady('jQuery', function() { amznJQ.available('popover', function() { var widgetDom = jQuery("#R33N9PFNLY0KVK_imageSection_2201FAA4-3A93-11E6-A621-D137E92A5F20"); var images = widgetDom.find(".review-image-thumbnail"); for (var c=0;c | 2 |

I always thought it would be tricky to setup, but actually this is one of the simplest devices. This is no more complicated than using a mouse. I plugged it in, installed the software, and I was able to move the cursor around Adobe Photoshop CS6 without any further setup. I didn't have to go into Photoshop menus, I was able to start drawing right away.A simple pen tap on the digital canvas makes the brush tool start laying down its mark. The brush line gets thicker the harder I press down on the pen. At first I was playing around drawing some text, like my signature. What surprised me is how easy it is to use and how natural it feels. It's like writing on paper with a felt pen. Intuos Art responds accurately to slight differences in pressure to vary the thickness of the brush. So my signature looked just like it does on paper, on my first try!If you are using a dual screen monitor,...Read more | 3 |
