torn boots, January 31, 2012

I should be fair, we live on a farm. Which means my daughter wore these daily for about a month before they gave out. If you're looking for a pair of boots for cuteness factor and for the occassional rainy day - get these boots. If you're like me and you want your kids to be able to wear these daily and play in them, go with another brand like Crocs or Kamik. Yes, they are more expensive but they really do withstand the test of time.Other than cracking and then becoming useless because my daughter's feet would become black when she wore them, they are easy to put on, don't stink and easy to clean.

I bought 3 pairs of Melissa&doug boots, its one of many items I bought from Melissa & doug (PUPETS, STICKERS, GAMES and more).usually I'm happy with their prudocts.BUT NOT THIS TIME - I gave two pairs to my friends doughters, and I was shocked and embarressed to find out that both pairs got torn on the side, under the butterfly patch, and they didnt use it more than a total of two weeks ... I wanted to give my niece the third pair but I guess not... what a dissapointment and a waste of money!!! if needed I will take picture for who ever wants to see that.

These boots seem really nice, and our little girl loved the pattern as soon as she saw them. However, while all her other shoes are toddler size 6 and fit fine, these boots are huge by comparison. We liked them well enough we'll keep them around until she grows into them, but that's likely to be a few years when she's moved into 'kid' size 6's.
