I asked the question regarding if this would make a decent carry-on pack instead of a suitcase/checked bag for a flight I'm taking to Seattle, WA in a couple weeks. I never received a response, but after reading all of the reviews & watching the video, I dove in and purchased this pack. I'm so glad I did! I haven't actually taken the pack on the flight yet (though I doubt it will change my review once I do) but I wanted something I could keep with me while flying, as well as use on my hike of Mt. Rainier while I'm in Washington. Using the "rolling method" of packing, I've been able to pack my hiking boots (Women's, Size 8), 4 pairs of jeans, 5 tank tops, 8 shirts, 2 long-sleeved tops, 2 pairs shorts, plus socks, undergarments and toiletries as well as a 32 oz hard plastic water bottle in this pack (everything I'll need for my 5-day trip -- and I'm not a small person {5'7"})!
