 | Author: Robert C Ross (New Jerse.. | Great stuff to have around for a codger. Reynolds has top quality based on my experience over the years, and it was used at the Culinary Institute of America, where I took three week long courses: Boot Camp for the basics, Italian cooking and Appetizers. One of many great hints.Four of my favorite uses:1. Put a piece under the cover of your ironing board and iron as usual. Heat will increase speeding your toils! 2. Make a few cuts with a dull scissors -- sharpens them up beautifully.3. Crumble a sheet up into a small ball -- use it just like steel wool.4. Wrap up left over pizza -- pretty rare in my house when I'm making it -- refrigerate, then when hungry, put on a cookie sheet and cook at 400F for 12 to 15 minutes. Almost as good as new, with more crunch.Robert C. RossJune 2015 | 33 |
 | Author: Colonel Doom (USA) | I have used this product for a very long time. My favorite use is for cooking, especially cookouts. Before I embark on a hike into the wilderness, I prepare savory dishes and put them in my pack. I prefer cooking my food in an outdoor casserole, where the juices of meat and vegetables blend. My favorite is to wrap hamburger with diced potatoes, diced carrots and green beans. At my site I build a nice fire and put the wrapped food into the coals. In a couple hours I have a great meal.If you are into survival treks, the foil is a very light weight cooking dish. Just take the game you catch and the wild plants you gather wrap them in the foil and cook like the hamburger dish.Good luck and good appetite. | 32 |
