This is a broad CD collection, including some old war horses (Rite of Spring, Pictures at an Exhibition) as well as some lesser known French pieces (Les Biches). All the music is wonderfully recorded, interpreted, and played. However, what REALLY makes this set shine is the additional DVD featuring Prokofiev's "Romeo and Juliet" and "Classical Symphony." I assure everyone, it is worth purchasing for the DVD alone. The rest of the music is a great addition.

However it's the 40mins or so of the Romeo & Juliet Suite that is so wonderful. This is dancing & choreography of the absolute first rank, a truly wonderful achievement for all those involved. | 4 | |
