Omnimount Play 40, for 30 to 55 inches TV.With Constant Force Technology (Electronics)

I never write reviews, but since I had a hard time figuring out if this product will work for me, I relied on reviews. So I'm going to return the favor and try and help some others out. I bought this mount because I wanted to mount my 55"TV over my fireplace. I also wanted the ability to move it around. This mount does everything! I can pull it down from the mantel to have a more comfortable viewing angle, and also move it and turn it and turn it to the side so that it can be seen from my island in the kitchen. As other reviews have mentioned, you have to offset the mount in order to have the TV sit centered and flush against the wall. I have a 7.5" inch mantel, and when sitting flush, the mantel extends out about an inch from the TV (so the mantel will hopefully be able to offer some protection if I decide to use the fireplace).
