Attractive dual purpose modem for ADSL and router. Looks nice, provides a little more coverage than I had with a less expensive TP-Link router with a separate modem that was a messy two-unit setup from the service provider. Had some difficulty getting connection details from the carrier in setup, which might be typical for the smaller DSL providers, but I was determined and got it going. I project saving about $80 over a yearly equipment & maintenance rental.
I tested the internet speeds out of the TP-LINK at OOkla.com and found them to equal the output guaranteed by the DSL provider. There was no reason to believe that the equipment reduced the Mbps download or upload speeds.
