   I bought one these Belkin cables from a local retail store as I had to get one quick. The cable worked so well (specially the black sleeving is less brittle than the apple original making it more durable) so I decided I wanted more of them so I ordered a few of Amazon. My review will focus on the cables I received from Amazon, specifically from the seller Donops! The original cable works flawlessly and I would give it 5 stars however the cables I received that is a totally different story.I looked at the boxes side by side and there were some subtle differences in the packaging like missing sections of text in languages other than English and the quality of the printing of some of the sections. It appears that my suspicion is right, and some of the sellers of this cable are marketing a knock-off product, not the real Belkin cable. It's a real pity that Amazon is allowing anybody to sell on their pages. It's not fair to consumers, it's not fair to the good third-party sellers, and its not fair to companies like Belkin whose reputation is harmed by it. I haven't always been happy with Belkin products, but this one is great. So, to repeat: DO NOT just add this to your cart without selecting "Amazon.com" as the seller. They don't always have this in stock, and they aren't always the cheapest my a large margin (another clue something is up) so the default seller you get when you hit "buy" usually won't be Amazon.IMPORTANT UPDATE: There seem to be more and more people finding that the "Belkin cable" is not working after an iOS update.
