Nostalgia RSM702 Retro Single Snow Cone Maker (Kitchen)

I rarely review products. This machine is so horrible I just couldn't help myself! I bought this based on several positive reviews. It arrived on Wednesday and it was packed up and sent back on Thursday! When it came, I couldn't wait to have a snow cone. I removed the styrofoam only to find the side grey stripe falling off the unit. The unit is extremely loud and shook so hard while grinding the ice that it disconnected from the suction cups holding it to my counter. The reviews and product information promised "shaved, snow like ice", but it was small crunchy ice pieces like you would buy from a snow cone vendor at the park or fair. (Yes, I let my ice melt a bit per the instructions.) Very glad this was sold and fulfilled by Amazon making the return hassle free. This is cheap and cheesy poorly built machine. Definitely not worth the money.
