Purchased for a company picnic and lasted about three throws before one landed on another one and it broke in half. Really? We have horseshoe sets at home that are 30 years old. These did not make it one game. Horseshoes are going to land on other horseshoes. Do not buy these.

Holy Horseshoe! I purchased this set of horseshoes and played with them about three times before the pathetic ending. I threw a horse shoe, it landed on another horse shoe and split in half. Yep, the horse shoe split right in half!!! I played with them 3 times......3......and done! I would like to warn everyone to the lack of quality in these horse shoes. Do not purchase these shoes!

I ordered this horseshoe set for friends as a Christmas gift. When I got the package, I immediately opened it and, at first glance, was impressed. The horseshoe set itself it VERY nice. The stakes and shoes have a nice weight and are just fantastic. The carrying case leaves something to be desired. The bag is pretty chintzy, the velcro straps to hold everything down were already separated from the case. Since the set is a decent weight, you'd think the bag would be made to hold things. So instead of the stakes and shoes being secured in place, they get piled up at the bottom of the bag when you carry it. I had planned on having the bag embroidered with the last name of our friends but instead, I'm now frantically trying to find a substitute. It's bad wrapping for an amazing item.
