People who are shopping for this have probably already decided they want this small form factor 'on-ear' style (vs larger 'over-the-ear' or 'bud' style).Two other earphones that I considered were the sennheiser on-ear momentum and the bowers & wilkins p3. I did not get the opportunity to listen to either of those, but I'd wager they sound, look and feel great. The professional reviews for these three are all over the place, and it really shows what a subjective issue headphone preference is. I chose the SOHO over the momentum because it was smaller and less 'flashy' and over the p3 because it was cheaper (used amazon marketplace vendor) and slightly smaller.Though I can't compare the three i can assert the following about the sohos.    These headphones sound awesome but there is a big problem.The quality of the cable is crap and causes constant static in the headphones after just a few short weeks of using them.I called the factory and they said that they were out of stock on the cables and there is a wait list until November.
