I thought they were larger than I wanted at first, but after assembling and cranking them down to see final hose for the wire I'm going to pass through them they looked perfect. I am using 16 gauge extension cord I am cutting to make shrimp lights in PVC/acrylic tubes with leds. Took me forever to find what these were called-my first use of cable glands (although I guess for me they are wire glands;o)
