2.0 out of 5 stars
The unit I received had some intermittent connection issues, but overall it is a decent entry level router. With promises of 600Mbps on the wireless, you would expect Gigabit ethernet 1000Mbps to handle the traffic, but the wired connections are only "Fast Ethernet", which is 100Mbps

10Mbps Ethernet
100Mbps Fast Ethernet
1000Mbps Gigabit Ethernet

The router was designed to be called 802.11ac, not to actually perform well.

If you expect most of your traffic to be wireless only or to be spread amongst the various wired connections, it may be worth considering, but overall, it was a disappointment and I'm switching from this D-link DIR-808 back to my 3 year old D-Link 825, which was Gigabit ethernet and removable/upgradeable antennas.

Also the form factor is a nightmare. While it seems great because of a small footprint, it can't hold itself onto a desk.
