I just recently started on a 2 pound bag that arrived on October 18, 2012. Finishing off my previous bag I was always very happy with the quality of the tea- nice and strong and it made a great potful with 3 generous large pinches of Jasmine and 1 generous pinch of Earl Grey (which was also great).
Now I'm brewing the new replacements with the same generous sized portions applied to the pot. It LOOKS like tea, same color, etc. but it's almost tasteless. What a disappointment (especially when you consider that I have at least 6 months of lousy tea drinking ahead of me if I'm not going to just throw my samples away).
I'd been buying from Coffee Bean Direct for years and always had very consistent quality from them. WHAT HAPPENED?
