This is a great game. I started gaming during the playstation one era. I feel a disconnect with today's modern games like call of duty and battlefield. New games are overwhelming with their mechanics. Basically I'm an old geezer that that doesn't like to go through lengthy tutorials just to start a game. Knack has the nostalgic feel of games that I grew up playing such as Spyro and Crash Bandicoot. The battle system while simplistic is really rewarding when you figure out how to not die. You start with the same moves that you end with so skill and learning enemy patterns is very important. Overall, this is a great game. It is a plus that the kids love it. There are not enough family friendly games these days.
