Belkin Premium 8.5''x10.5'' Mouse Pad (Blue) (Personal Computers)

When people were talking about it saying that it was blue, it appeared purple to me on the screen, and I thought that maybe my colors were messed up on the flat screen or I was just high or something. It showed up today and I was right all along... This pad is Purple! It's almost the same color that the Sacramento Kings wear...Like a Royal Purple..Why oh why did you mislead me into thinking it was blue? I'll upload a pic with the Razer Deathadder on it. The mouse has blue lights and you'll see the difference. Even though it goes against my Black/Blue color scheme, I'll keep using it because it is very nice, but change the description to purple. Removed a star for that...not appreciated!! What trips me out though are the reviews from people saying it is blue. Have I been mistaken my whole life about what the color blue really is?! It's simple, basic black and the perfect 9.2 x 8.3 inches that have almost become an industry standard. It's hard to tell from the details of this product what you are going to get, so let me describe it for you:The surface is a plastic laminate with very light texture to it. A typical plastic mousepad without this light texture actually adds to the friction because you increase the surface area between what your mouse touches and the pad itself. By adding a light texture, you decrease the surface area and thus the friction is reduced.I was looking for a low friction mouse pad that had no graphics on it. Some optical mice do not track well (i.e. Jumpy Mouse Syndrome) because there are images and repeated patterns on the mousepad itself. This pad tracks very well because of the lack of pictures printed on top. Mine is just a plain blue. Also, it is the most low friction mousepad I have used in over 20 years of computing, and even better than the SteelSeries SX mousepad that sells for $49.99(at the time of this writing).
