   Petroleum jelly has so many uses that it is hard to list all of them. I use it for a variety of different things and have historically used the Vaseline brand whenever possible.This 2.5oz tube is really nice compared to most of the packaging petroleum jelly comes in. It's a plastic (not metal) tube with a clicky cap on the end which makes usage more convenient and more sanitary. Unlike a metal tube or jar, it's more durable and won't get damaged if dropped. True to Vaseline's reputation, the petroleum jelly is pure and free of any sort of debris or variation in quality/consistency.Price-wise, this is a super good price compared to most stores. In recent years, Vaseline has gotten more expensive and harder to find in bulk discounts. So this is a great find for anyone needing Vaseline.

Hard to find 100% pure Vaseline Petroelum Jelly in the tube in my town so I was thrilled to find it on Amazon. Have had many wide excissions due to skin cancer and am allergic to antibiotic creams and other lotions so the 100% pure Vaseline was recommended by doctor. I thought it would be easy to find but store brands and "baby scented" were all that was available. Finding it here on Amazon was a Godsend.

Locally these cost much more. I found them here for about $4 each and that's a great deal. I use it for my psoriasis. It's mostly what's called inverted psoriasis and I have it mainly on my torso and scalp. This vasseline is the only thing I've found that works. Way better than any lotion.It's greasy a bit,of course, but so soothing and so worth it. Since using it for the past two months my skin isn't so red and irritated or itchy. It's like its healing. I put it on once to twice per day. I even put it on my scalp which yes is greasier but I keep my hair very short so I can get it in and put it in at night and run a cats flea comb through it for the "dandruff" ( found it on Amazon) and wash it out in the morning with tea tree oil shampoo and conditioner.
