I used Dawn dish detergent for a couple weeks before realizing it leached odor onto my bottles and pumping supplies and I felt like there was a residue.I researched other options and decided on BabyGanics. I wanted something natural. I already use their laundry detergent and it both smells wonderful and doesn't irritate baby, so I was confident this would be a go.The soap smells fantastic! It is a very mild citrus scent thst does not leach onto supplies. It does its job in leaving both baby supplies and regular dishes sparkling clean!It only takes about 2-3 pumps to wash my entire sink of bottles and pump parts. One bottle lasted me about two months of vigorous daily washing (3-4 washes a day). It hasn't dried out my hands yet either - must be the lack of chemicals!No complaints whatsoever - I will continue to use this soap!!!

Received the old formulation and didn't realize it until I had already opened it. If you are buying this based on the EWG's ratings, I recommend against buying this item online for the time being so that you make sure of which formulation you are receiving. Other than having a poor rating by the EWG, I also find that the old formulation has a different and unpleasant smell and I find that it seems to not rinse as well as the new version.
