Finish Quantum Dishwasher Detergent, 45-Count (Health and Beauty)

     A friend of mine heard me griping about my worn out dishwasher (15 years old) and how I have to completely wash my dishes by hand before I load them into the dishwasher and even then, the dishes barely come out clean.Yeah, pretty boring. That's what two guys were talking about.Anyway, he told me to check out these Finish cubes. After using this product for a few months, I noticed that my white and off-white dishes were discoloring. It is almost as though they have a drippy nicotine-like glaze on them which I am, so far, unable to remove. Today I spoke to their customer service department, and I was told that I should put the dishes through a wash cycle using Finish Power-Up All-In-1 Booster (they will send coupons) with no other detergent or rinse aid in an attempt to remove the brown residue. The rep advised that I could soak each dish in undiluted vinegar for several minutes as an alternative. The customer rep also told me to dump my box of 60 Quantum packets (I have at least 50 remaining) and use only Finish products with no gel component in the future because, "they don't have this problem." As it was obvious that the manufacturer is aware of the issue, I asked that they reimburse me for the 60 unit pack of Quantum as well as providing coupons for the Finish Power Boost recommended as a remedy.
