The main pros: - It's cheap, and it works (as long as you're clever--more below) - Sound quality seems to be fine, and those on the other end never have trouble understanding me, so I assume the microphone works fine as well
Cons: - I haven't seen others mention this, but the mute switch is heavy. I find it pretty uncomfortable the way it hangs down and pulls on the earpiece. It's bad enough for me that I found a binder clip and use it to clip the cord to my shirt, so it doesn't hang down freely. - Doesn't conform perfectly to the ear. The little hook is a bit rigid and can be uncomfortable sometimes (and it doesn't interact very well with my glasses) - It does not work if it is muted when you plug it in. In anticipation for Destiny I figured it was finally time to get a proper headset to use with the game. I took about an hour looking at all my options to see what was available in the fairly cheap category. First off this was about the only one I found that does not do a full over the ear headset which is exactly what I was looking for. I just wanted something small and simple that worked. I have had it and have been using it for 2 weeks now every night and have had no problems at all using the device. Just plug in and your done.The good things about this piece are its small and compact, stays in the ear with no problems, did not have discomfort with it in after playing as long as 4 hours with it in several nights.
