Classic Independent Film, not a Zach Comedy, but Amazing!, January 17, 2011

If you're looking for The Hangover, Due Date or any other formulaic mainstream comedy, steer clear..Want something that will haunt you and have you wondering about the nature of good and evil, this might pique your interest..Excellent script...excellent acting..just not what anyone looking at the DVD cover would expect..

The Amazon description of this film is actually far more "hilarious" than the film itself. No wonder most reviewers are disappointed. They expected a kind of adolescent romp and got a dark satire instead. I blame the studio for failing to market this film properly. They tried to trade on Zach Galifianakis' name and image to sucker people into the theatre. Galifianakis appeared only if the first act of the film (although quite brilliantly), but the true stars were Matthew Modine (who co-wrote the script) and Callum Blue.That's all I'm going to say. If you liked the films "Dogma" or "American Psycho," you will love "Frenemy."

This is a classic indy film. Brilliant writing and amazing acting. BEWARE: this film will make you think, not good for non-thinkers. Just playin, good for non-thinkers too.This movie is not a Zach comedy, but he is great in the movie.Definitely worth it!!
