Great for space!, November 2, 2009

3/17/11 Rec'd the fan... good service as always from Amazon! Thank you Amazon!!!3/18/11 Contacted Hunter Service as one of the fan blades was frayed on the end - They have no replacement blades and have no idea when one will be available. - The rep tried to get me to accept a "similar" blade, in a "similar" color??? Ridiculous!!! - The fan would have 4 blades alike and 1 different!!! - A Lead Rep was to call me back that day, but never did.3/21/11 I called back and talked with a different Rep... got the same run-a-round.3/21/11 I called the Hunter Home Office number to get assistance... but all they would do is send me right back to the same Reps who I told them were unhelpful and did not return promised calls??? Go figure!The fan seems like an OK product. Lighting is minimal. Heater seems to work in my small bedroom.BUT... if you need to contact Hunter for Parts, etc... it appears you will be in a very...

The fan was delivered in a timely manner. Installation was straight forward with no significant problems. It provides good lighting and takes the edge off a cool room. I would recommend this fan for any area.

Installed this fan in a smallish home office as a replacement for an old standard fan. Installing was easy and straight forward. The unit has a small fan for the heater that sounds like small jet engine. Not only is it annoyingly loud but wholly inefficient. I would never recommend this for heating a room, or even supplemental heat. Save your money and buy a nice fan instead.
