This is exactly what I needed. Our new home has a garbage disposal and I accidentally turned it on when we first moved in. It stopped working directly after that. I was sure I broke it and that it was going to have to be replaced. I looked up how to possibly fix it myself online and came across this little tool. I ordered it and tried it and it fixed my stuck disposal immediately. You may have to really pull and push to get the disposal moving. Do not be afraid to put a lot of elbow grease into it. I thought I was going to rip the disposal off of the sink, but it did give way and fixed my issue. Haven't had problems since.
