I have many silicone molds that I use in my crafting business, and I have never had a problem putting them in the dishwasher, since silicone is made to handle heat or cold. Sadly, this tray warped when it was put in the dishwasher! It's still useable, but not the same. My family of Superman addicts is very sad.
So, if you're using this just for ice, it's wonderful! You can just rinse it between uses and you're good to go. But if you are using it for any other purpose, remember: Dishwasher=Kryptonite!
