This is a great product. Don't let the lightning connector sticking out of the top fool you. This folds down to a perfect square. (Not really square, but close enough.) Because the connecters on both ends fold into the grooves, they are protected from damage. This Scosche BoltBox is exactly like a different brand here on Amazon, but only 1/2 the price. And...The free shipping did not require a minimum purchase.
This charges my iPhone 6 with no problem. I did not receive any error messages about compatibility. I also synced my phone to iTunes. No problems. I still have to check if this fits my spouse's iPhone with the OtterBox case. However, the connector is the same size as the other retractable that already fits his case.
No damaged & tangled wires. This won't snag on other stuff in your bag. They also have a Micro-usb version. I would recommend this to anyone.
