I've been looking all over for good dark chocoloate chips. These definitely taste nice and dark. These definitely taste a little darker than the Gerbs mini dark chocolate chips which claim to have less sugar and are 68% cocoa. I prefer the taste of this brand over Gerbs. The packaging doesn't say what percent cocoa these are, but other reviewers have suggested it's 69%.

The morsel size is great: not too small, not too big. They're smaller than the 60% ghirardelli dark chocolate chips.

I'm going to stick with these as my supply of dark chocolate for the future until something better comes along. The only improvement I'd like is a little darker and a little cheaper! This was around $8/lb whereas ghirardelli dark chocolate chips are $5/lb. Enjoy Life are higher quality or don't contain soy/dairy, but hopefully more competitors enter this space of healthier dark chocolate chips.

I am committed to getting unfermented soy products out of my diet. I find that most chocolate candies use soy lecithin as an emulsifier. After finding out that soy lecithin is pretty much the sludge that is left over after chemicals like hexane are used to extract the oil from soybeans, I decided that I want nothing to do with it. (In the days before corn and soy crops were subsidized by the government, we got lecithin from eggs, not soy sludge.) Enjoy Life chips are soy free and they taste great. I use them to make my own mint truffles.

We bought this chocolate after finding out my daughter had a nut allergy. I wanted to be able to make her a chocolate bunny for Easter since all the other kids would have them. It worked out great! I just melted the chocolate in a double boiler, stirring continuously, and poured into some candy molds. Perfection! On a side note, I love chocolate and have no allergies and these have become my have chocolate chips to eat straight out of the bag. I included a picture of a chocolate lamb I made with these chocolates. if (typeof amznJQ != "undefined") { amznJQ.onReady('jQuery', function() { amznJQ.available('popover', function() { var widgetDom = jQuery("#R3P0PRJJJCWINC_imageSection_28F40A72-50F5-11E7-88E9-0463BE4974D3"); var images = widgetDom.find(".review-image-thumbnail"); for (var c=0;c
