I have found this to not be true. The plastic at the bottom is much too thin to handle a pack of papers and books. Mine cracked to pieces. It was hard to believe because I am careful with my equipment and also am careful about what I spend my hard earned money on. Well, after using it for about a month, I had cracked pieces all over my car and classroom. And I bought the 39 dollar crate, not the 20 dollar one. You know, nothing is better than a milk crate. A milk crate lasts forever, even though it looks a little tacky. I would not suggest you spend your money on this product. Cindy

| We bought this in December, 2008 but after a few uses of carefully hauling books, it fell apart. I spent a lot of time reading the product reviews. I settled on this because of the good reviews. After it happened to us, I went back to the reviews and read a review from a Teacher who had the same experience as us. So this is not an isolated incident. I will not buy this product again. | I bought by husband this to haul his textbooks back and forth. It already has a crack in it and a big chunk of plastic came off it. I would've sent it back but was not up for the hassle. DO NOT BOTHER BUYING THIS ITEM. | 2 | ||
