Avanti 12 Bottle Thermoelectric Counter Top Wine Cooler - Model EWC1201 (Misc.)

I purchased this wine cooler in 2012. After about two years, the fan attached to the heatsink in the back started whining on-and-off and ultimately failed. As this happened, the wine cooler could only achieve/maintain about 10 degrees Fahrenheit below room temperature, in contrast to the 17-18 degrees Fahrenheit below room temperature it could achieve when new.I didn't realize the fan had failed; the lack of heat dissipation caused to the Peltier element to also fail. So the cooler stopped working. I don't think that working for two years is sufficient for an item at this price point. Fortunately, thermoelectric wine coolers are easy to fix and relatively inexpensive to do so.
