I've used this product very sparingly to fight cold-induced congestions: only one spray in each nostril every night while the fever is present (usually 2-3 days). That has worked very well for the past 2 years.The past week however, I've had a very bad cold, and I picked the routine up again - one spray per nostril before sleep. However, on the fifth day when my congestion still had not gone away, I started wondering if something is wrong.And from reading various publications and articles, it turns out the main active ingredient, Oxymetazoline, is a very addictive chemical.
