 | Author: Ella | Update 7/2/13: Still love the Command sticky nails! One of the few truly incredible products I've discovered in my life. | Author: P. Scott Pope (Chicago, .. | Having tried a variety of command strip products, I have witnessed their strengths and weaknesses. This particular offering works well on vertical surfaces for hanging items that would typically require a protruding nail. For example, certain clocks only have a small hole that doesn't provide clearance for a hook. In such cases, this product is ideal. My only complaint is the lack of more specific failure data on this product and sensitivity to heat and humidity. Previous attempts to use command strips to hold heavy acoustic foam to a ceiling were not that successful. That being said, this product can obviously hold more than five pounds. It would helpful to have, for example, an immediate failure rate at X pounds at Y temperature and Z humidity. | 4 |
