best vacuum used so far, November 25, 2011

I love this vacuum. It is very lightweight, reaches under my furniture easily, and is self propelled! Also, I found this thing sucks up just about anything so be careful:). With my other vacuum I found myself running over the same piece of paper or dirt 10 times until I finally bent over to pick it up. With 3 kids and a dog I need something with more power. I prefer a vacuum with a bag because cleanup on a bagless is so messy. I bought mine from Sears for about the same price - much cheaper than a Dyson I was considering and I am well pleased.

very powerful and extremely light weight. comes fully assembled. keep away from threads and light rugs as it wants to suck them up fast. worth every penny. comes with good warranty. go for it.

If you're considering this vacuum - it's worth every penny! I reviewed and reviewed nearly hundreds of vacuums until I was dizzy, but still knowing in my heart I wanted an Oreck. This vacuum - hands down - is a champ. SUPER lightweight and it's power driven - so you barely even have to push it! Perfect for anyone with shoulder or back problems, or even the elderly. Excellent suction (but then ALL Orecks are champs) and a terrific buy on Amazon. You can easily buy replacement bags, belts, brushes and air fresh tabs on Amazon, too. If you're wondering if you should buy this vac - GO FOR IT!
