I have been waiting for this since the release of the Xbox One.. I have the Chat Pad for my Xbox 360 and used it very often when my 360 was my primary console and since my purchase of the Xbox One it has been sorely missed.
I have been using Smart Glass for inputting codes or communicating with others while gaming, BUT as I'm sure you know, Smart Glass isn't very convenient to use and burns the battery quickly on your Cell Phone or tablet, not to mention that if you let your screen go black on your tablet or phone you will have to wait for the stupid Smart Glass to restart itself.. When gaming and needing to send a quick message via text, Smart Glass is NOT the answer.. I wish Microsoft had made the Chat Pad available at launch, but at least it's here now and I couldn't be happier.
