Great features, bad build quality, January 2, 2011

I bought one of these from Lightinthebox.com... same model, but no included memory. For the size, the thing was amazing. I actually think the picture quality looked better in video mode than the still photos (I suspect the camera is digitally "zooming" to create the large still pic). Audio was little shoddy and too quiet. Camera would auto-off if left in standby mode more than a few minutes for battery conservation, and it auto-saved the video after 13 minutes, then started another file. I was totally impressed.You'll notice everything up until this point is written in past tense. That's because the gadget died after 2 days. Dead as a doornail. Won't turn on, no lights of any kind, computer refuses to acknowledge it's been plugged into the USB port. Nada. So, yes, it's a sweet little camera, but it's a total gamble whether or not it'll last.
