My truck is a 2006 6.6 Duramax / Allison 2500HD. I use it as a daily driver and a tow vehicle. I installed the unit and a generic backup camera. I saw one post where someone couldn't get the camera to work. My experience on that was ensuring you power the camera video from something like the backup light circuit then when the video comes on and you are in reverse the camera works. Mileage on my daily commute drive went from in the 16's to 19-20 using the level 1 economy tune. Features I like, the maintenance manager, where I can keep track of all the various maintenance schedules automatically, the ability to read and clear faults when I am driving. Had an occasion where I was on the road half way across the country, truck kicked into limp. Diagnostic read showed problem to be the Mass Air Flow sensor. Dropped into the nearest auto parts, can of MAF cleaner, and a quick code reset and I was on my way! I also like the ability to monitor injector performance with the Balance rates...Read more
