Let me start by saying, I just had my 3rd child, my last 2 being 17 months apart. So I have been pregnant/nursing for the last 2.5 years straight. In this time frame, I have tried many, many different nursing bras. I started with a few that were sold at the maternity store, yeah, that was a joke. Definitely not supportive enough for larger breasts, that are heavy especially during the initial stages of breast feeding. They did offer an underwire bra, but with the sling only on the outside of the bra, this was constantly pushing my breasts to the center and together, sort of like a push up effect. Not comfortable. Then I went to a specialty bra store by my house and bought a very expensive Goddess non-underwire bra, as underwire is not particularly recommended for nursing. I wasn't crazy about the seams in the center of the cup of the bra, "for added support", nor was I crazy about the torpedo like shape it gave my breasts, and the fact that I couldn't wear it under many shirts as it...Read more
Before my first was born I was told to avoid under wire for breast health and so bought a few bras from motherhood maternity and I felt frumpy and lumpy through that whole year. After my 2nd was born I tired madela but it was too thin. So during my third pregnancy I tried on every nursing bra within a 50 mile radius of my house. This one looked good to me and I decided to order and try it on. I hoped it would work but I didn't really expect it to be any different than all the other bras I had tried on. It has lift, it has coverage, it has a nice shape, it is well made, it seems to be high quality. I am very pleased. When I am looking for a nursing bra I want full coverage.I want a thick enough pad to hide nursing pad lines (and heaven forbid, nursing pad bunches)I don't want any more than just enough padding because -seriously- I bought a DD I am not wanting to look any bigger.I don't want it to look creased and bumpy in that line where it always...Read more
This is the best nursing bra I have found. It's fit is the closest to a "regular" bra and provides adequate coverage for large breasted women. I don't like underwire bras, so I removed the wire and the boning on the sides. The bra still had plenty of support and has not lost its shape (3 months and counting). I highly recommend this bra for women with C breasts; with or without the underwire.
