In the war against vampires, mankind has only one hope: The Dark-Hunters. Ancient warriors who died of brutal betrayal, the Dark-Hunters have sworn themselves into the service of the goddess Artemis to protect us.It's a pact with pretty good perks. Immortality, power, psychic abilities, wealth and a cool wardrobe. But it comes with a few drawbacks: fatal sun poisoning and a new, irreparable dental problem. But aside from the fangs and nocturnal lifestyle, it's not soTo tell you the truth I just bought the first book because I liked the drawings and the first one of this series was cheap. I was pleasantly surprised that the story was both funny and entertaining. Sooooo, I ended buying book 2 and 3! Oh and I'm planning on buying the written books the author has in addition to the graphic novels. Yeah, I know, I'm hooked. It has mythology which the author adapted to the new age, well done. I liked how the characters were drawn also, handsome guys!! I can't wait for book #4.

Volume 3 is the first part of book 3 in the Dark Hunters series titled Night Embrace. While he is right to be fearful of his curse and past catching up to his present, things are not quite the way he thinks they are and the resolution of this story is not certain until the very end.Night Embrace is one of my favorites in the Dark Hunter world.
