Android Tablets Made Simple: For Motorola XOOM, Samsung Galaxy Tab, Asus, Toshiba and Other TabletsThe book arrived promptly, it was very recently written just a month ago so it covers everything android from start to ICS(ice cream sandwich) and is incredibly thorough. Without question it is the best item I have purchased to get me going with my Transformer Prime, which for me was my first device using an android os. The book really does cover it all and in doing so of course it touches on a few topics that don't apply to me but that is what happens when attempting to cover so much information. It is easy to find subjects and instructions and once found it is an easy read. As for content the book gets an A but unfortunately there is one problem and as it comes from Amazon I had no way to provide feedback to the "seller." These books are evidently printed upon order placement and when they printed mine they didn't have the GLUE MACHINE set right and nobody checked the book e.g. QUALITY CONTROL. The pages were falling out of the book as they were only partially glued to the...

Having seen where another reviewer said you can find the same information that is contained in this book by searching the web, I was a little hesitant to buy it, but Amazon has a feature that allows you to preview some of the sections of the book, so I took advantage of that to see for myself. I liked what I saw, and realized that having this wealth of information right at my fingertips, without having to search the web for it, would be very useful to me, and save me time.I purchased the digital version of the book so I could have access to it right away.
