I ordered this Caddie after hubby began working with a physical therapist again. I thought it would be a better option than a rail on the right side of the bed -- that would have impeded his getting to a sitting position with the help of a caregiver or myself.The Caddie attaches easily to the bedframe -- it took me only a minute or two. I would strongly suggest that you do NOT attach it to any other part of the bed other than the iron or metal frame. Like another reviewer, we have adjustable beds with metal parts that move along with the bed -- but they're removable and that's NOT going to be stable enough to support the full weight of someone struggling to sit upright and swing their legs around to the side of the bed. If you're going to have a decent shot of success with this product, you need to be safe about installing it first!This item is a great concept but if you have limited or impaired upper body strength you're not going to be able to use it...Read more
