Maybe a tiny bit better bargain than I imagined. This box includes, the charging base / USB connector / radio; a battery; the USB/Radio cable; an A/C adapter; and a bazillion world prongs for the adapter. The description seemed to say this was only a base with radio and an A/C adapter - the battery was a bonus.Informatics sells the most confusing line of barcode readers here on Amazon. There is no single kit to purchase.There is nothing special about this black plastic base. The big hole accepts the handle end of the barcode reader, and the slot in the rear accepts a spare battery. The barcode reader itself glows solid red when the battery is charged. There is no indicator on the base that the battery is fully charged (the LED glows red whenever the battery is inserted correctly.There is a computer connector at the back in which you plug in the radio to USB adapter.
