The charger I received is NOT Apple brand, and a cheap off brand. I paid more specifically to have the Apple brand charger. The item pictured and described on this post was a brand new APPLE brand charger purchased DIRECTLY FROM APPLE and MADE BY APPLE. The product description is intentionally deceptive and my experience with this product is terrible. It feels like it was built as a piece of junk with cheap injection molding and the outlet plug does not stay in very securely. I would not buy this if I were you.
