What a wonderful new DVD from Ana and Ravi!I have been doing KY with Ana and Ravi's practices for several years and there is not a single exercise activity I enjoy more. I have all their DVDs and they amaze me constantly, there is so much depth and joy in all of themThis new DVD - Solar Power - is an excellent new addition! It's definitely very doable for all levels. I think people who look for more hatha-yoga like practices will really enjoy it - and there is definitely a lot of work aimed at stretching and opening - as well as a lot of Breath of Fire (love it).After the Intro and Tune-In, the Practice starts with Solar Power Part 1 and Solar Power Part 2 - they include some exercises we know and love form Ana and Ravi's previous DVDs - stomach grinds, neck circles, spinal flexes, cat cow, twists - and even an old favorite - hip joint release exercises also seen on Total Tune Up; shoulder stand, plow, hip raises, etc. Modifications are provided,...

I can't say enough good about this DVD. I just finished doing it and it was wonderful! Beforehand, I was kind of stressed(who isn't these days) and after doing this workout I felt strengthened and balanced and more able to go with the flow of life rather than trying to change things I can't change. It gave me a release from holding onto stress and I felt above all the day's challenges...like they couldn't drag me down anymore. I think yoga(and especially Kundalini yoga) is even more important for people to do now days for their minds, bodies, and souls. It helps to ease your own suffering(and gives you a fit body to boot!). It helps you take charge of your mind and body. I've done many styles of yoga over the years and although I enjoy them all, I've found Kundalini to be the most healing physically, emotionally, and spiritually. I have experienced deep healing on all levels from Ana and Ravi's DVDs and each new DVD they make addresses another level of healing and health. Ana and Ravi...

The Solar Power routine is excellent. I think it would be an especially good choice for beginners: The premix for beginners includes the tune-in, breath primer, posture primer, the solar power first set, the set for super vitality, and the heart mantra meditation -- quite thorough and doable for anyone. For those put off by sat kriya, perhaps even better than their first Beginners & Beyond DVD (I also think the 15-minute warmup in Quick Fixes is excellent for beginners, and then you can close with a great meditation and add from many options as you progress).This is my first Blond Ana DVD (I'd put my ravianas away for a while only to recently rediscover them), and the vibe is quite different; it feels over-produced and lazy at the same time. The afore-mentioned Beginners premix, for instance, is listed at 30 minutes, but actually clocks in at almost 45 minutes.
