So far so good. It is extremely easy to install. Just hook the remote wire up to a toggle switch to turn the amp on and off then, once on, pair to your phone and adjust the volume. You won't be able to use an equalizer like on a typical head unit but you can adjust the settings on the amp itself. Best part about no longer having a head unit is there is one thing less to be corroded in the harsh saltwater environment I use it in.
