AWESOME NEW ALBUM BY G. Albright, June 19, 2012

I been fan of Norman Brown for a long time and have listened to some Gerald Albright and it was funky. This is like a Gerald album with Norman as a featured sideman. Norman is there but buried in the mix and doesn't seem his high energy self. Overall album is typical smooth pop jazz which great players can bring life too, but in this case its not happening. So being generous and giving it 3 stars.

This is a fantastic new album by Gerald AlbrightI love the mix of popular songs like "Champagne life" and Tomorrow" with songs that showcase his talent like "24/7" and " The Power of Your Smile" -- my favorite song on the CD. Excellent New Album.
