Michael Buble's Best Album Yet Has A Serious Flaw, April 22, 2006

It's Time Michael Buble - Its Time (Music CD) available on December 28 2014 from Base for 5.79
This is a terrific album, probably the singer's best yet. I forsee a big future for this young man, and have bought all of his albums. I would have given "IT'S TIME" five stars except for the problem described below. There is one serious flaw in this album that you might want to know about: due to Warner Brothers' (the parent company of Reprise) heavy-handed anti-piracy programming, "IT'S TIME" will not play on a computer, and therefore cannot be uploaded into iTunes and recorded onto an iPod or other such MP3 player. For many people, this is the primary (and completely legitimate) way they use to listen to their CD collections - I've got over 500 albums on my iPod.In other words, Warner Brothers' solution to the very real and serious problem of music piracy is to turn around and steal from its customers their legal right to listen to the album on an iPod or on their computer. Whether this tactic is legal or not, I feel very strongly that it isn't right, and...

Oh my this cd is soooooooo hot. My eardrums are smokin' and so will yours. David Foster and Humberto Gatica prove once again that their partnership in sound production has no rival for attention in my ears.Michael Bublé and Nelly Furtado sing a sentimental samba duet that sealed my affection at track four. "Quando, Quando, Quando" is so outstanding. It starts with a gentle guitar by Heitor Pereira and spectacular flute by Dan Higgins. The echo of Nelly Furtado's voice is lovely and her voice is so compatible with Michael's. Then they sing together and her harmony with his is just incredible.I think the tempo changes and Big-Band arrangement of "Can't Buy Me Love" show off Michael Bublé at his vocally versatile finest. "The More I See You" is another smokin' swing treat.I was thinking at about track 8 with the saucy, latin "Save The Last Dance for Me" that there is just no way I can handle anymore musical tenderness today. And...
