Depression Cure, May 1, 2012

I am so glad I stumbled upon this product. At first I wasn't expecting much because I've never heard of this brand before. In the past I've tried out five different reputable brands of 5-htp. A few were okay but most were ineffective for my insomnia which caused me trouble falling asleep, staying asleep, and sleeping deeply. I must say so far Nutrigold is the best and now my holy grail of 5-htp. It seems to be more bioavailable than other brands, working quickly and effectively. I take half a capsule in the afternoon and the other half on an empty stomach at bedtime. In the past I've tried valerian, hops, theanine, inositol, melatonin, tryptophan but none has relieved my thirst of sleep. Usually it takes me 3 hours to fall asleep at night but since I started taking Nutrigold I'm knocked out within 30 minutes. I have been suffering from sever depression for the past few years and recently found great relief from 5htp and St. Johns Wort. 5htp is the most effective depression treatment I have come across, it allows me to sleep well, and overall gives me an active mood boost all day long. After a few days of use could tell that 5htp was really something special. It doesn't have the side effects that can be "killer" in regular prescription drugs. Definitely a life saver!

I've been dealing with anxiety and depression issues longer than i care to remember. My therapist had me convinced that my only option was prescription medications, and they do work if you can find the right combination. However, if you don't have health insurance as my situation became a few months back, you begin to entertain other options. Well, I've tried a few different "natural" alternatives and 5-htp has been the best without a doubt. It gives me the ability to control my mood and emotions very similar to the way prescrips did. I prefer the powder, only because I feel it works more quickly (i.e. absorbs into the blood stream faster).
