The bottom touch screen makes use of a telescoping stylus that is stored in the unit itself. The top screen displays 3D visuals to the naked eye. Looking at the screen is like peering through a window into a world where characters and objects have true depth.I got this as an early Christmas present from my Husband cuz he knows I Love Dogs and Cats especially. I've owned previous version of Nintendogs and I can see they upped the cuteness of each Puppies face. I had a hard time deciding which pup to pick and which kitten too. I'm not that big of a fan of the color pink but the holiday bundle packs do offer a bit of a better choice for say little girls who don't like the Red, Aqua, or Black that the 3DS normally come in. The extra game is a great way for starters and if you're giving a 3DS as a gift having it come with a game helps with the extra shopping for a game to go with your 3DS. Overall it's a great bundle and the price I paid for mine was reasonable. My real dogs are jealous that I spend time playing with Domo my virtual pup. (n_n)

I love my new system and purchasing this bundle is absolutely genius. Haven't had any issues and I've had a DS lite since it's been out.
