I previously owned March Madness 2005 and Hoops 2K8, both for PS2. I know there are a lot of die hard 2K fans, but I really like the EA games better. In fact, I preferred MM 2005 over 2K8. I thought MM 2005 had a better "floor" angle camera which made me feel like I was in the game. 2K8 players seemed too shiny and the crowd noise bothered me as it seemed like it played in a constant loop with an annoying whistle.
That said, NCAA basketball 10 is a huge improvement over both of those games. First off, the graphics are much better, which should be a given since we're comparing PS2 vs. PS3. There are a lot of little cool features that are at least new to me since I haven't bought the EA version of the game since 2005: -Real schedules (dynamic update required) -Live scores and ESPN radio at the main menu.
